This web page is intended to allow customer access to service related information for Multiport test sets for the PNA that support full calibration for all ports (via option 550 or 551). The test sets listed below allow the PNA models to become "n" port network analyzers with user calibration available on all "n" ports.

Agilent also offers other test sets that function only as switch matrixes and do not support calibration of the test set ports in an integrated manner. These test sets are not listed below.

This web page will expand over time as service information for various multiport test sets becomes available.

Z5623A opt K44

Frequency range: 10 MHz to 20 GHz

The Agilent Z5623AK44 multiport test set, combined with 4-port PNA-L or PNA-X network analyzer with Option 551, offers full crossbar and calibrated measurements up to 8-port.

Z5623A opt K64

Frequency range: 10 MHz to 20 GHz

The Agilent Z5623A K64 high power test set, combined with either a 2-port PNA Series or 4-port PNA-L option 245 network analyzer offers a complete solution for up to 4 or 6-port measurements.

Z5623A opt K66

Frequency range: 10 MHz to 20 GHz

The Agilent Z5623AK66 multiport test set, combined with 4-port PNA-L option 245 network analyzer and Option 551, offers a complete solution for up to 14-port measurements.

U3022AE06

The Agilent U3022AE06 multiport test set, combined with 2-port PNA, PNA-L or PNA-X network analyzer and Option 551, offers full crossbar and calibrated measurements up to 8-port.

The Agilent U3022AM06 mechanical multiport test set, combined with 2-port PNA, PNA-L or PNA-X network analyzer and Option 551, offers full calibrated measurements up to 8-port.

U3022AE10

Frequency range: 10 MHz to 26.5 GHz

The Agilent U3022AE10 multiport test set, combined with 2-port PNA, PNA-L or PNA-X network analyzer and Option 551, offers full crossbar and calibrated measurements up to 12-port.

U3025AE10

Test Set Files

Option 550 or 551 on the PNA require an appropriate test set file.

Option 550 is not supported on the N5242A PNA-X.

Functional test certs for N4419B/20B/21B

The announcement of the discontinuance of calibration certificates for the N44xx models is in the letter from Steve Scheppelmann dated June 29, 2006.

Agilent will no longer issue calibration certificates, only functional test certificates. This is due to the absense of any testable hard specifications on the N44xx.

The recommended method for issuing a functional test certificate for the N44xx is to perform the operational check as defined in the service guide. The operational check may be performed by the customer or by Agilent. Alternately, the test set may be returned to the Santa Rosa factory where the production tests will be performed. Still, only a functional test certificate will be issued, NOT a calibration certificate.

The documented operational check process does not generate any data that may be sent directly to the customer. A service center may compose a custom test report consisting of screen captures and test limits, if needed.

E5091A test sets

Some options of the E5091A test sets have limited support on the E836x and N5230 PNA models. These test sets are functionally similar to many of the 87050A test sets, they do not have couplers and do not support calibration on more than two ports at once.
