Not all CPU assemblies are usable on every instrument. For example, the 1.6 & 2.0 GHz CPU boards are only compatible with the PNA-X Family.
The 266MHz CPU was only used on the E8356A, E8357A, and E8358A.
Certain CPUs may have a minimum or maximum limitation regarding firmware revision.
